Farewell party Jaap Ruijgrok

Last October we commemorated the achievements of former managing director Jaap Ruijgrok at a
farewell party, with great speeches, drinks a big grill food truck. Although retired, Jaap will remain a
new business consultant for ESI.

At ESI Eurosilo we feel privileged to have a smooth change of management while the business
steadily keeps growing. Since the new shareholders took over ESI Eurosilo, the business has
developed quite favorable. New orders were booked for agribulk as well as for FGD-gypsum. Also the
maintenance and spare parts operation is developing well.

It all started with just one potato starch silo in the Netherlands. Standing in front of a giant grill food
truck we looked back on the years of international expansion, led by Jaap Ruijgrok. Jaap also drove
our technological expansion, resulting in a range of systems for different materials. He simply
explains: “Short communication lines, fast service and always getting better. That’s it. And it worked
well.” The new management will continue the successful strategy. ESI Eurosilo is well on its way to
become a true global player.
