Presenting Eurosilo at Solids Trade Fair
On 9 and 10 October, the Solids Trade Fair in Dortmund will open its doors to thousands of visitors from over 40 countries. ESI will take part in the exhibition to present our range of Eurosilo products and services. Vertical silo storage for bulk materials
Although ESI has a long history in space saving and environmentally friendly silo storage, the potential of vertical storage is still unutilized for the major part of the bulk solids handling market. This is why we are presenting our key Eurosilo systems, all developed to secure reliable material handling. For the efficient storage of (cohesive) bulk materials, our Eurosilo systems are specifically designed to maintain product quality, ensure logistic reliability and save space at plant sites. This is why we have developed our range of Eurosilo systems to enable the optimal solution for different bulk materials and project requirements. To be the best partner for the best fit.
Our different silo systems
In order to meet the requirements of our customers, we developed and delivered four material handling systems in a complete silo solution. Each with a different working principle.
Mass flow system silos
Suitable for: moderately cohesive material, such as coal or petcoke.
Slotted column silos
Suitable for: very cohesive materials such as FGD gypsum or hygroscopic products such as salts.
Shutter column
Suitable for: for very fine powders with fluidizing behaviours.
Window column
Suitable for: free flowing powder material, easy to be fluidized such as fly ash and cement
Providing solutions
With over a 190 units built and installed around the world, our history is embedded in developing and delivering solutions for all kinds of industries. New applications, such as biomass, soy bean and sugar are currently under investigation. With an average life span of over 30 years per Eurosilo, we don’t take risks or probabilities lightly. Modernization and conversion
In order to bring older silos up to more strict current standards or to convert them for viable new applications, we are engaged in a number of projects around the world. This also includes conversion or modernization of silos build by former silo suppliers such as Weibull or Spaans. The common factor is the application of our expertise in silo storage. So we can provide a tailor made approach per project.
