Sharing global expertise at Premas Field Service Days

Being part the AUMUND Group broadens the scope of Eurosilo on many levels. With a wide range of products and solutions from AUMUND that – like Eurosilo systems – are vital for producers worldwide, it was very fruitful to participate with our after-sales team in the Premas Field Service Days in Rheinsberg, November of last year. With a group of 30 participants we aligned knowledge and perspective on the optimization of after-sales and service activities. 

Predictive Maintenance Solutions: PREMAS

Together with technical colleagues from AUMUND Fördertechnik, AUMUND Group Field Service, PREMAS, SAMSON and SCHADE we discussed the PREMAS strategy and introduced our product portfolio’s to one another. Sharing experiences and best practices of topics such as inspections, conversions, and health and safety was both fascinating and educational. Maarten Appelman, Service Manager Eurosilo: “It was great to introduce the Eurosilo systems to the group, so that everyone has a clear understanding of the total AUMUND portfolio and super visors around the world can act as ambassadors in the field.”

PREMAS 4.0 for remote real-time monitoring

A special topic during the three days program was the further introduction of the PREMAS 4.0 digital condition monitoring solution, presented by Enrico Milazzi and Rajesh Nair from PREMAS AG. Supported by the latest Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) technology, PREMAS 4.0 offers an effective solution for asset management and maximizing the uptime of capital installations. By continuously collecting data about the condition and performance of key components and presenting this this in dash boards, costly break downs can be avoided and under-performance is identified at an early stage. PREMAS 4.0 can also be implemented in new Eurosilo systems.

Optimization and further roll out

The purpose of this international gathering is to strengthen the international network and build a foundation for improvement. The further roll out was continued during the Global After Sales Meeting in February this year. Upon return Service Manager Maarten Appelman concludes: “As newcomers to the after sales group, we feel welcome to share our Eurosilo expertise and to be embedded in the AUMUND Group. Leveraging the global coverage of AUMUND to be closer to our customers will help us to ‘move forward’, as the vision of the AUMUND Group says. ”
